An Edera Jewelry Bride: Yokanna
I'm excited to share some images from lovely Edera bride Yokanna's beautiful destination beach wedding on the blog today! Yokanna contacted me earlier this year about creating a custom jewelry set for her wedding. She requested statement pieces with silver and pearls, and with a hint of pink to tie in with her wedding colors. I created a custom pair of "Nereid" style earrings for her. The lace motifs were created in entirely silver threads and accented with pale pink freshwater and coin pearls. Vintage crystals added a bit of sparkle to the design, and the opal-colored crystal referenced the blue of the ocean to tie in with the beach theme and provide the traditional wedding "something blue."
I also designed a pretty cuff bracelet based on the "Aiglentine" style for her. This piece had an intricate handmade lace focal piece, customized with accents of pale pink freshwater pearls and fastened in a bow with luxurious silk ribbon ties, again in a pale pink color. I also designed a delicate floral bracelet in pink, ivory, and silver for the mother of the bride.
